Zolderse Dak Projecten (ZDP) has been a leading roof specialist for more than 35 years, committed to personal service and top quality. More than 135 enthusiastic colleagues work every day, and ZDP has already installed more than 1,000,000 m² of roofing at more than 100 projects across Belgium.

Challenge

ZDP wanted to get more control over both current projects and financial flows. They were looking for a way to:

• Better control of costs and optimize margins.

• To be able to quickly determine which projects are profitable, and which projects it is better not to invest further.

• To achieve further growth in turnover, but, above all, to increase profitability in a sustainable way.

In addition, there was a need for more and better data to keep working efficiently: measuring is knowing. ZDP wanted to be able to see where the focus should be at a glance.

Solution

With the implementation of InsightData Finance App and Project App ZDP has found an integrated way to closely monitor both projects and cash flow:

• Project App: Provides continuous insight into current projects, so that costs are closely monitored and margins can be optimized. The solution clarifies which projects are profitable and where there is potential for growth or exclusion. The long-term use of this App has also shown where even better and more data needs to be collected.

• Finance App: Ensures that ZDP can proactively respond to their cash flow. This enables a tight and correct monitoring of financial flows, so that decisions can be made quickly if necessary.
