BI Solution Architect

BI Solution Architect

You understand business processes, think analytically, and enjoy building solutions yourself. At InsightData, we are looking for a BI Solution Architect who translates client requirements into reliable data and insights that people can actually use.

What do we do?

InsightData helps companies make better decisions with their data. Our Business Intelligence apps in Qlik Sense provide insight into areas such as revenue, margins, cash flow, and operational performance, reducing manual reporting and Excel work. In addition, we develop AI agents that actively highlight relevant anomalies and opportunities.

You don't just build dashboards; you build solutions that clients can base their decisions on.

Your role

  • Understanding client needs. You discuss how a client operates, which insights are missing, and which questions are truly important. You translate this into clear KPIs and a workable solution.
  • Designing and building solutions. You bring together data from ERP, CRM, accounting, and other sources. You build data models, loading processes, and dashboards in Qlik Sense, using our existing apps as a starting point.
  • Ensuring reliability. You verify data quality, definitions, and calculations. You ensure the solution is accurate, performant, and maintainable, and that the client understands and trusts the figures.
  • Driving client projects forward. You take responsibility from analysis to delivery. You manage agreements and scope, communicate clearly about choices and bottlenecks, and guide users through the implementation process.
  • Strengthening sales and product development. You support commercial colleagues with substantive demos and technical questions. You help translate improvements from client projects into reusable solutions for our apps and AI applications.

You think like an architect, but you also build the solutions yourself.

Your profile

You have experience withBI development, data modeling, and SQL. Knowledge of Qlik Sense is a major asset. If you currently work with a different BI platform, you are willing to immerse yourself thoroughly in Qlik.

You combine technical insight with an interest in business processes. You ask the right questions, think along with the client, and can explain complex choices in an understandable way. You communicate fluently in Dutch.

You are pragmatic: you look for a solution that fits the needs, budget, and timeline. You take responsibility, identify problems early, and help solve them. You thrive in a small team where you can work independently while sharing your knowledge.

What you'll find with us

A substantive role with a mix of client contact, technical development, and product improvement. You build upon existing apps and business logic, so you aren't starting from scratch every time.

You will work closely with colleagues, see the direct impact of your solutions on clients, and have the space to grow in Qlik, data architecture, and AI. Your ideas can find their way into products used by multiple clients.

At InsightData, everyone counts. We are a small team with a very flat structure: you can go directly to anyone, and your ideas are welcome, even if you have just started. We share knowledge, help each other, and give you the space to learn, try things out, and grow.

You are given the trust and freedom to take ownership of your job. This includes taking initiative, keeping your commitments, and speaking up when something gets stuck. You take responsibility, but you are not on your own.We are straightforward and work together to find practical solutions that truly help our customers.

Flexibility works both ways for us. We take your needs into account and expect you to be flexible when the work or the team requires it. We also consciously make time for each other outside of daily work: every month, we organize a team event to do something together and get to know each other in a different way.
